Weight Loss For 12 ,13, 14 and 15 Year Olds
This entry is for the young adults out there trying to lose weight. Put your wallet away and save your money. I am not selling anything because I only want you to do one thing and that is to listen to what I have to say. You are not alone in your question to lose weight. There are millions of young adults just like you who want to lose 5 - 10 or even 100+ pounds. Although you are an individual you are not alone. Although you are sitting in a room by yourself at this moment the world is filled with pain you ALL are feeling. Although you may think you are alone your cries fill the world with the silent screams for help. You are overweight and you are young and you want to make a change in your life and that is a pretty cool thing to want to do for yourself.
I want you to know that weight loss is very possible and is a cheap thing to accomplish. You do not have to spend any money on any product at all at any time to get it done. Actually if you want to lose weight it can save you money in the long run. If you want to lose weight you can accomplish this and you only need yourself to make it happen. For the last time I want to say my concept requires NO money to be spent at all.
If you want to lose weight fast then I have no help for you because the “fast” way is the way of those that will only fail “fast”. There is a reason behind this and that is the way your body is designed. If you lose weight fast you are forcing the weight loss. If you stop eating you will lose weight fast but guess what? When you start eating again your body is designed to protect you from another period of “starving” so it not only gains the weight back, it will add more weight than when you started! This is why there are so many fat adults in the world. Ask an obese adult how many diets they have tried and the list is provided without hesitation. If you want to lose weight then plan on losing about 1.5 to 2 pounds a week, after the first 10 days. When you start my plan you will lose weight fairly fast at first but then after about 10 days it will slow down. When the weight loss slows down is when people get depressed and think they are a failure. By the quick results of the first week many think it will be that fast all the way to thinness. To think that is setting yourself up for failure.
You also do not want to announce to the world that you are on a diet or are going to lose weight. Not only does that put unneeded pressure on yourself, it would be a lie. You are not going on a diet. You need to skip the diet and make a plan to live the rest of your life. If you think that you can make the choice at your age to never eat a french fry again you are setting yourself up for a failure. You need to learn to accept the fact that you will still have a burger now and then and that you still love pizza. What this does mean is that you do not have to eat 5 slices of pizza. What it does mean is that you do not need to eat a cheeseburger every day. That is what fat people do. What you need to do is educate yourself in the things that you do need to do. The first thing I want you to do is when you go out to the supermarket look at all the fat adults. Look at their shopping carts and make a mental note that that is what the fat people eat. If you do not want to be an overweight adult then you need to make a change in your life and STOP trying to make a quick fix that is “fast“. Losing weight fast is a sure fire way to become a fat adult.
If you are serious about losing weight then the first thing you need to do is start to educate yourself. Do not be lured into “junk” websites that just want to sell you something. Education on weight loss is out there and you just have to learn. You need to learn the value of fruit. Did you know you can eat as much fruit as you want every day? Did you know that strawberries taste great? How about grapes? They are even crunchy! Educate yourself and ask questions. Limit your portion size while you slow down while you eat. Put the fork down between each bite and chew and swallow each bite before picking up the fork again. This will slow you down. Did you know it takes about 20 minutes for the food to be able to transmit a signal from your stomach to your mind to tell you that you are full? Too many people eat too fast and eat too much because they do not allow themselves the time to KNOW they are full.
This could go on and on but the truth is that if you educate yourself and make healthy choices you will become healthy. As you start to become healthier you will lose weight. You can do it and only you can stop you from making it happen. If you really, really want to lose weight then forget fast and make it happen and by this time next year you could lose 100 pounds. i am 12 and i am over weight .i weigh 170 and every body at school calls me big girl or fat girl.when i get home a am even greeted with a nasty remark like ”that shirt is too small, u know your body weight”. that really makes me feel bad. i keep gaining weight no matter what . i REALLY would love help from you . this is my granddads email i dont have my own email
You say that there is really nothing you can do but that is not true. Losing weight first begins with a thought and then, and only then can you make it happen. You need to stop eating the poor food choices and start to choose smaller portions and healthier foods. You need to start to learn about what to avoid like candy, soda and pizza. You need to watch your portion sizes and control your overeating.
You can lose weight and you know you can. You just need to work at it for the long term and stick with it for more than a month or two or three.

I am 13 years old and i weigh 145 pounds i do abs workout and yoga from excersise tv but i am loosing weight too fast is this normal? Like i loose 7 pounds in 7 days
It all depends! If you have just started your weight loss attempt then it is not unusual to lose that much weight. I doubt you will lose 7 pounds every 7 days. When a person sees the large number of pounds early on in their weight loss attempt they tend to get discouraged later on when the weight loss slows down. Slow and steady over the long haul is what you want. 1.5 to 2 pounds a week is good and it is also healthy.
