Phillipe and Sionne were cruel to try to send Ron home on March 31. Not making excuses but Ron is holding his on despite 1. 50 plus years of being over weight. 2. He can not sleep at night due to sleep apnea whch makes one fell like HEEEELLL
3. Ron is diabetic so his body can recover like like the other contestant and it caused horrible pain in the feet and body pain. 4 Ron has slow metabolism from decades of failed dieting making it worse for him than all of the other 5. Ron knee are even there. This causes ungodly pain. 6. Ron has joint pain and shoulder pain that is really emotionally draining 7. He is the oldest contestant. 8. He bleeding ulcers that cause alot of pain and the blood loss causes alot of fatigue. 9. Ron has ciculation problems that would cause most anyone to be an invalid, but he forces himself to keep on and on. 10. Ron has high blood pressure and has multiple surgeries. IN SUMMARY RON HAS DISPALYED UNBELIEVABLE STRENGHT TO ENDURE THIS AND REALLY NEEDS TO BE THERE. RON LOVES HIS SON AND DOES NOT WANT MIKE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME. PUT YOURSELF IN HIS POSITION PLEASE. THANK YOU.
Yes Tara does have her head up her ass, but Helen was cruel for eating the cookie to make Tara lose the race. Sione and Philippe are insanely cruel for trying to send Ron home when he was in the hospital. Ron has carried around way to much weight since he was a child. He is trying to protect his son from the hellish life that he has had to life. You can not blame Ron for that.
Lisa,
I totally agree about Filipe. That rant was most of the most disgusting and pathetic scenes I have ever witnessed. Jillian is not infallible; she may have done things (unconsciously or not) to rub Filipe the wrong way. But at the end of the day, he’s responsible for the choices he made.
As the season winds down, I’m liking most of these contestants less and less. Tara strikes me as somewhat of a fake – that person who is cocky and snobby when she’s on top but forced to repent and toe the line when she falls. You almost root against her because you wonder just how snotty and insufferable she’ll become if she ever does regain a model’s figure. As one of the older contestants, you would think Helen would bring some more maturity and the sobriety borne of past regrets to the dinner table. Instead, she was probably the worst offender and the one leading the charge with regards the booze and smoking. The Blue Team isn’t completely safe from my disgust either. I am really starting to get peeved by Ron – he consistently is one of the worst performers (he’s lucky he’s still on the show at this point) but the first to throw someone else under the bus come elimination. His remark to Mandi that it was her “turn to go home” was one of the most selfish things that entire episode.
Probably the two people who truly value their experience on the ranch AND will not let the game change their characters are Mike and Mandi. And Mandi just got eliminated.
I think the Filipe sounded like a 3 year old when he threw is fit and blamed his trainer for distracting him from a good weight loss, lets not forget his chicken tenders
