Medifast Review: Day 15
I have been writing some Medifast reviews for a couple of weeks now and I thought I would just spend a moment to recap not just what I have done on the scale, but how I feel about the whole process so far. I have been using Medifast for 15 days and I must admit that it has been fairly easy but has been a large learning curve. What I mean by the learning curve is that there have been a few major breakthroughs for myself and my relationship with food. I must admit that I was a food addict and I had an affair with food that went so deep that I was not even aware that it was there. I write this Medifast review straight from the heart.
I must admit that before I started using Medifast I would always have to eat until I was really full. If I ate at a buffet I would literally not stop eating until I was stuffed. I used to think that in order to be full I had to eat and eat and eat until there was just no room left for even one spoonful. If I ate at home I would always go back for seconds and eat until either the food was gone, or I was overly full. The interesting thing about all of this was that even after a big meal I would be back in the kitchen looking for a snack. With all I had been eating I still did not have the energy, nor the will power to get up and get some exercise. The opposite was true as I really just wanted to sit around and watch TV or just do nothing.
The first day I was using Medifast and I saw the portion size of the food, I thought I was always going to be hungry. I remember looking at the pile of meals that was laid out for the upcoming month and I thought no way could that food be enough. I thought that I would one day have to write and tell the world what a disaster the Medifast Meal Plan was for me. I thought that the reason anyone lost weight on Medifast was because they were starving to death!
What I have learned about Medifast in the short time is that I now understand that I have an addiction to food. I feel like I have awoken from a long and deep sleep because I had no control of the amount of food I aways thought I had to have. I remember eating out at Subway thinking I was doing really well on my calories, eating 700 calories for lunch. Now that I am using Medifast daily my calorie intake really amazes me. I now eat less than 900 calories a day and yet I am never hungry. I eat every few hours and I have resorted to setting my phone’s alarm to ring so as to remind me to eat, as food is no longer the big priority.
Since I have started to use Medifast I have been able to detach myself from having to just eat for the sake of eating. I know I have limits and boundaries as to how much I eat and I now understand that taking control of the calories is what is important for me to lose weight. Because of Medifast I know that I had an unhealthy relationship with food. I know that I have the internal power and the internal ability to eat better and to eat less. Overall, because of Medifast I have started to regain control of my life.
Sure I could try to dazzle you with a statement of how many pounds I lost and how fast I lost them, but that is not my intention here. What I hope you can understand about Medifast is that it has awoken me to the reality of how out of control my eating habits were. I know I can’t live on Medifast forever and I know I can gain all my weight back again, but I do not think that is going to happen. I have worked too hard to be here and I ain’t going back.
Overall I must give a positive review to Medifast because this is the program that has worked very well for me. In closing I just want you to understand that because of Medifast I know I have an issue with food and overeating. I know that it is there and chances are I may have those issues forever. The point of this entire article is to pinpoint the fact that because I started Medifast I now know that my relationship with food is unhealthy and that relationship is what I need to keep working on. Medifast has worked very well for me and because of that and the reasons listed above, I give a Medifast review that is nothing but good.
If you are looking to lose weight than I suggest you too check out Medifast because chances are that if it could do this for me in just two weeks…imagine what my world will be like in two months! Medifast is great, Medifast works!
Losing weight has a lot of factors like exercise, food in take and sleep. Others are mis-led by myths that if you don’t sleep you’ll burn more fats and hence be thin. But its actually the opposite. When you don’t sleep, your body will crave for more food.
