Medifast Product Review: Peach Oatmeal
Once again today I ate some Medifast Peach Oatmeal and I must say that I have learned much when it comes to preparing my Medifast Meals. For this brief review of Medifast Peach Oatmeal I must tell you that if you want to enjoy the taste then you need to plan ahead. What I mean by that is that for me to give this the positive review I intend to give it, I had to try it more than once and in those attempts I have perfected how to take the taste and texture from wallpaper paste to flavorful oatmeal. For this review you must realize that I have learned to soak my peach oatmeal overnight.
The first time I ate Medifast Peach Oatmeal I must admit that I joked with my wife that we could hang wallpaper with the stuff. We even continued on with some joking about how the look and texture of it could be compared to prison food. With that being said I have gone on take it from a joke to an enjoyable and great tasting meal. The secret that I have learned is that the night before I simply prepare my next days meals by mixing the Medifast products with water and then sealing them in a watertight container in the fridge. The next morning I grab my little pouch and off I go! Everything has been saturated with water, which is the secret that transforms Medifast Peach Oatmeal into a great tasting breakfast or anytime snack during the day.
Another little thing that has really helped me enjoy any Medifast Oatmeal is the addition of one packet of artificial sweetener. I choose Splenda, but I am sure that any artificial flavoring of preference will work. Overall this review of Medifast Peach Oatmeal is a positive one. Do not think that I am doing a backflip over how it tastes so good because let’s face it….we are talking about oatmeal. As far as oatmeal goes the stuff is not bad tasting. More importantly, I also would like to stress that the texture is greatly improved when it soaks overnight. For me the texture of food is just as important as the flavor. The simple act of soaking the stuff takes it from eating oatmeal soup and transforms it to eating…well… oatmeal.
Overall I just want to say that The Medifast Peach Oatmeal is a good and decent tasting part of the Medifast Meal Program. If you like oatmeal overall you should have few issues with it, as long as you soak it for a few hours before eating. I give Medifast Peach Flavored Oatmeal a one thumb up review. I hold back the second thumb only because we are talking about oatmeal and that fact alone has not once in my life excited me. As far as comparing the stuff to normal off the shelf oatmeal, it holds it own and is worth eating simply because of the fact that it is part of the plan that will make you thin again! I could eat Medifast Oatmeal everyday knowing it makes me thinner and did not taste bad.
Wait a minute!! I do eat it everyday, so it must taste pretty good and I have lost over 28 pounds in 33 days!

When eating the peach oatmeal, trying sprinkling a little nutmeg and cinnamon and a little splenda.. Tastes really good that way
Thanks for the tip. I just had my first bowl and thought I had gone back to eating glue in first grade. Just awful. Will try your tip next time. Thanks!!
