The purpose of this article on a Medifast iPhone, Android or a Blackberry app is to inform you there is really no such thing in existence today.  It is interesting to note that an organization as efficient and successful as Medifast has not taken the time to develop an app for the people that are living the Medifast way of life.  At first glance it may seem as if an app is needed, but once a person understands Medifast it becomes clear as to why there is not a need for an app.

A Medifast app for the iPhone would be a nice to have thing, but we really know why there is not some sort of FREE app that can be downloaded.  There is nothing to download or upload when using Medifast to lose weight.  I have an iPhone and I have search the web and each time I come up with nothing.  After using Medifast as long as I have I can now state that there really is nothing Medifast needs to create an app to do.  Sure Dr. Anderson could come up with a motivational quote, but the need is really not there to enhance the effectiveness of Medifast.  Medifast is so simple to use, there is nothing a Medifast user would NEED a app to do.

The closest thing I could find that even comes close to being a Medifast app would be simply adding Medifast to your FaceBook page, by liking them.  There you could pretty much do, or research anything you wanted to know or understand.
