Get ripped with this mini workout from Jillian Michaels!   We found this video and thought it might interest you.  This video shows the Ripped Up Abs program that Jillian Michaels markets on DVD.  There is a short presentation done by Jillian herself to give the viewer a little taste as to what to expect.

This video is pretty much the same high quality of other recent video workout routines done by Jillian.  If you are looking for some private advice on how to exercise, then this line of videos may be for you.  If you are just going to leave them on the shelf, save your money.  They only work when they are used.  For those of you that are familiar with the methods of Jillian Michaels you will know that her approach is a no nonsense, as seen on The Biggest loser.

Do not think that if you order this DVD set, or any other of her DVD’s you will get that screaming and rough Jillian you have learn to admire.  What you will see on her video training DVD’s is the kinder, more gentle Jillian that is often glossed over by the marketing of The Biggest Loser.  Do not forget she is the one that is always the one trying to understand why a person has gotten obese in the first place.  Jillian is the one that is always trying to get at the root cause

Her DVD’s are a closer reflection of her teaching side.  If you are interested in working out with the screaming crazy lady, this is not for you.  If you are interested in learning how to correctly do some exercises she recommends, then this IS for you.

  • I have pretty much all of Jillian Michaels’ fitness dvds and think about myself to be in superior physical shape, but this workout took it up a notch. It’s refreshing with totally unique moves and intensity. My body has changed significantly in just 3 weeks. I’m going to start week 4 workout tomorrow, and I have to admit, I’m a bit nervous!

    The second exercise she shows, where you’re half sitting up with your knees bent holding hte dumbell, does anyone know if we’re suppose to do twenty for each side we turn or are both sides counted as one?

    @Rainb0wBryte1 That’s so true. To say Jill is on roids is beyond laughable. People that make comments like that have no clue what it takes to lose weight and keep fit. I can guarantee that anyone that has left a comment like that, are completely out of shape, or overweight and has never set foot in a gym.
