Don’t Do Medifast!

I will be the first to tell you “don’t do Medifast” if you are really not ready to lose weight. I can say this because I struggled with my weight for well over 20 years, and never really was able to achieve any tangible weight loss until I started to use Medifast.  I failed at more weight loss attempts than I ever thought would be possible, and if I did not achieve the weight loss that I did, I would have been more skeptical than anyone.  The point I want to make here is really not limited to Medifast because I have learned that weight loss really all comes down to a frame of mind.  If you are not ready to really make weight loss a reality in your life, then save your money and enjoy your life, because nothing will really work to lose weight until you make that fundamental shift in your thinking process.  That shift is what ultimately makes weight loss a reality in privacy of your home.  So I am truthfully telling you to not do Medifast, unless you are really ready to commit yourself to weight loss.

There is no doubt that Medifast works to help a person lose weight.  No doubt at all!  I will not even touch upon all the science that has backed the weight loss ability of Medifast over the past 25+ years, because unless the individual can make the needed mental shift to make weight loss a reality, there will always be the discreet trips to the fast food drive thru.  If you are not ready to conquer your obesity, you are doomed to remain obese.  If you are not ready to get healthy, nothing will work for you, and that includes Medifast.  Don’t do Medifast if you are really not ready to lose weight.

There is no doubt in my mind that you could lose 100 pounds using Medifast, but the thing you need to do is commit yourself to the plan for it to work.  If you are a committed person and want to lose 100 pounds and gave Medifast a chance for no less than 6 months, your life will be altered in ways that you did not think possible. If you really wanted to make weight loss a reality, it can be that reality using ANY valid weight loss program, but you need to become and remain committed to making it happen.  For it to happen you need to start making more “good” decisions than “bad” decisions and I used Medifast because it took away almost all of the food decisions to enable me to gather the will power I needed to make it. The 5.5 months it took me to lose slightly over 100 pounds, is my story, but it is not your story.  Granted that is my story, and your story will vary, but the fact remains that in order for me to lose the weight I had to commit myself to weight loss for the duration.

Don’t do Medifast unless you are really ready to make weight loss a reality in your life.  Granted the first 3 days on Medifast can be tough, but after that, the process gets much easier. No matter what you decide to do I firmly believe in what Wallace D. Wattles preaches.  He teaches that, before reality can set in…that there has to be the thought.  Since you are sitting there with the desire to lose weight, you have the ability to lose weight.  The only thing left to do is to just get it done and that all starts with the first thought, the first moment, the first day and …….

Check out my story of how using Medifast products helped Sue and I out, and if you can relate, then you may see some light at the end of the tunnel for your obesity.   I have learned that in order to lose weight you just need to give your body time to re-boot.  Using Medifast works, but only as long as you are ready to make the choices needed to lose the weight.  Don’t do Medifast unless you are ready to really lose weight.
