Is there anywhere I can find a weekly meal plan?
This isn’t a vegetarian question but I didn’t know where else to put it.
I am a pescatarian, and I would like to have some help with planning my meals. Plenty of websites offer meals plans for all type of diets, but I haven’t seen any for pescatarians.
Will I just have to get a vegetarian meal plan and add fish?
BodyBugg Blog Entry
I decided to write this blog entry about BodyBugg because I am utterly amazed with how cool and effective BodyBugg has been for me. I received my BB as part of a corporate experiment and did not have to pay for the thing. When I first heard about it I thought it was going to just be another stupid weight loss gimmick. I never dreamed it would prove to be so effective for me in my quest to lose weight. I have tried again and again to lose weight and have not ever had any real success. The most bizarre thing about BodyBugg is that it really does not make any promises that it will help you lose weight. You do not wear it to help the pounds “melt away” and it really does little more for your body other than hang around your left arm all day long. BodyBugg really makes no direct connection to any weight loss other than helping to raise the awareness level of those that where it and check in with the website everyday or at least once a week.
I log in daily and some days I log in even more than that. Sometimes I want to know how come I am so hungry or how many calories I can eat at a meal and still be able to lose weight. I never dreamed that the main effect BodyBugg has had for me is that it has made me aware of the crap I used to eat. I love Pepsi and yet I no longer want any. I never really placed much thought on how many calories i had eaten and continued through my days not paying attention to the amount of calories I was burning off everyday.
Today I really had a banner day because everything clicked and I not once felt like I have been on a diet. The simple reason is because BodyBugg has shown me that diets fail and a lifestyle change is what I always needed. Today I exercised and went to work and ate at Subway and came home to a really healthy meal from The Biggest loser Family Cook Book. I just did the BodyBugg upload and discovered I had a calorie deficit today of 1,806 calories. Last week my BodyBugg was off by 65 calories a day and with that equation I should lose 3.4 pounds this week. That is right where I am with my weight loss and I am thrilled to tears. To date I have lost 29 pounds and I feel great. The pants are getting lose and I have a jaw bone that is visible on my face. I haven’t seen that for years!
I could go on and on about the BodyBugg bet that would keep me up to late. I have another day at the gym in the morning and need to get my rest. The Biggest Loser and Bob Harper are so right in the things they say and do and BodyBugg is no exception. I am thrilled I have one and I am so thrilled that I am losing weight. The best thing about all of it is that this weight loss is being done the correct way. I am doing it through exercise, food choices and BodyBugg. The interesting thing is that BodyBugg really only has made me aware of what I always knew, but never applied. I now watch the calories that I eat, I exercise and it is all because of not only my desire to lose weight, but also because I have the BodyBugg that I am always checking in with. I do not want to see bad numbers so I really think about each and every food choice before I eat the food.
BodyBugg is awesome and I am so glad I received one for free because if I had to pay for it I would never had gotten one at all. If I had to spend my own money I would still be that fat person trapped inside my body. The BodyBugg has helped release that person and it dumbfounds me to think that I would have let this go by without spending what I now think is not alot of money because of the great results BodyBugg has delivered. So, if you are wondering if it works?……………………Hell yes…….. it works great!

Give Me a Diet Plan!
It is amazing how people say “give me a diet plan” thinking that weight loss is a one size fits all. The truth is that many weight loss plans will work, but most people will not allow the weight loss plan the time it needs for the program to work. Having written 100′s of articles about weight loss, I have seen every conceivable comment from people that have either complained about a specific weight loss plan, while others using the exact same plan went on to lose weight. If you, or someone you know, is asking for someone to suggest, or provide a diet plan, there really should be a moment for pause before spending any money. If the person asking the question is not ready to make the commitment, then they really should just save their money because they would be wasting it on yet another failed weight loss attempt.
In today’s society there are so many diet plans on the market, that the choices often end up being overwhelming. With all of the choices that are on the market today many of them are blatant failures and yet those very same plans earn massive incomes for the people that market the so-called weight loss product. Some quick examples of exotic weight loss methods that are failures (simply my opinion) can be found in products such as Sensa, diet pills (100′s of them), patches and Acai Berry concoctions. Many people have spent small fortunes in trying to come up with diet plan that worked as sort of a magic bullet of sorts. Society has tried online diet plans, lifestyle diets and have even waged diet battles of sorts…only to realize that there is a need to find the one single plan that works for the individual. If you are hoping someone will give you a diet plan that will work for you, there are some qualifiers that you should look for in the methods being solicited. Below is a quick reference that may help point you in the direction of some actual and permanent weight loss.
The diet plan should contain attributes from the following thought processes:
- Can the diet plan work long term, in your life?
- How long will it take?
- Is the weight lost sustainable?
- Is there valid and documented science behind the diet plan?
- Is the diet plan affordable for your budget?
Can the diet plan work long term, in your life?
What this means is whether or not the method of weight loss is going to be one that you will be able to do for as long as it will take to lose the weight desired? I tried to lose weight many different ways and failed and when I finally did find a way to lose weight that worked, I realized I had to be able to use the plan for the duration of my weight loss. When I first seriously attempted to lose the 100 plus pounds, I did not realize I had to be able to live on the diet plan for about 6 months. When I started on the journey I really did not realize that to lose the weight, it would take 6 months of following any plan. So when you are asking…”give me a diet plan”, is the answer you decide upon going to be one that you can live with for as long as it takes the diet plan to work?
How long will it take?
How long will it take your diet plan, of choice, to work? As stated above, there is no one size fits all answer. After all of my research, I ended up using Medifast to lose my weight because this plan was reported to work the fastest. (Comparison Chart) The only plan that even came close was NutriSystem, but the cost was beyond my reach and after doing my research I concluded that their plan was not one I would have been able to live on for the 6 months it would have taken for me to lose my weight.
Is the weight lost sustainable?
I knew from my past failures that I could lose the weight and the real issue was just gaining it all back again, once I was off the plan. I lost my weight using Medifast months ago, and although I have gained back a few pounds, from my lowest weight, I am very comfortable at the weight my body has settled at being. I have a very healthy BMI and because of the training I received, while on the plan, I have been able to be very successful with my diet plan. If a person can’t keep the weight from returning, the diet plan is an ultimate failure. I have not failed, and it is because of what I learned while losing the weight. Now that I am truly thin, I will never allow myself to be obese again! Is the plan you are thinking a sustainable way to live after you are done dieting?
Is there valid and documented science behind the diet plan?
I wasted enough time over the years to know that there are more weight loss scams on the market today than the ones that really work. I have learned that the real diet plans are the ones that have the staying power to have been on the market for years and avid the infomercial circuit altogether. Sensa, Acai Berry, weight loss patches and the like all have had infomercials and you may have seen them. I no longer wanted to try a diet plan scam, so I looked at the science behind the plans. When I found out about the thousands of doctors that have approved of the program and how Johns Hopkins even tested out and approved of it…I was hooked. It did not take me long to realize that Medifast has a 30+ years history of science and success.
Is the diet plan affordable for your budget?
I will admit that although I post these articles out here on the Internet, I am not some rich person living the life of ease. I work in retail and money has been tight and was a massive part of trying to lose weight. It took me quite a time before I started to think about how I could scrape up the money to start ANY diet plan for my wife and I. It was no easy task until I really put the pencil to the paper and caclulated that NOT losing weight was costing me more money than losing weight. (How I afforded our diet plan) An interesting side note is that now that I have lost my weight I spend more money eating OFF a diet plan! I have no complaints though because our new bodies are ….priceless!
