Program Yourself Thin

It is pretty much an established fact that diets really do not work.  Just look at yourself and all of your friends that have tried to lose weight.  Off the top of your head you can list all of the diets or weight loss programs you have tried.  Each and every time you get all motivated and start down the weight loss journey to lose weight and the weight starts to come off, for awhile.  After you deprive yourself for awhile and do what you consider really well it happens again.  When it was the Atkin’s diet you got tired of not being able to eat bread.  It was diet after diet that you tried and the end result was that you ended up weighing more than when you began the diet!  After awhile you started to feel as if you were a failure because diet after diet ended and you still were overweight.  Maybe the truth is that the diet failed you and you were just there for the ride.

An interesting concept has emerged in the way a person can lose some weight fairly fast.  It is a known fact that true weight loss does not start in your mouth or at the table.  For a person to experience true and complete, long term weight loss it has to begin in the mind.  The entire ability or lack of ability to lose weight starts with the manifestation of a thought.  The thought process is what allows a person to make the decisions that are needed to achieve weight loss.  Let’s face it; you know what you need to do to be able to lose weight.  You are more intelligent than many people because you are attempting to educate yourself and use that education to shed some of that excess weight you have been caring around.

As you know, the way to lose weight is to eat healthier and to eat less and also you should be performing some sort of exercise.  It does not matter whether you are a contestant on The Biggest Loser, or Bob Harper flashing his tattoos while he helps his people lose weight.  What does not matter is how much you know or how smart you think you have become. You still have the problem that somewhere between your common sense and your mouth too much food gets past your lips.  For some reason you cannot even answer for yourself  why you are incapable of taking your weight loss knowledge and making weight loss happen in your own life.

The way you need to start a weight loss program starts with the birth of a thought.  That thought then manifests into either weight loss or weight gain.  Why not learn to stack those thought in reserve and be able to hold on long enough to be able to lose weight.  Why not start your next diet in your mind first?

Jim Katsoulis has created an excellent program to help you program your mind and program your thoughts that will help your weight loss attempt last long because with his tools you should be able to achieve your weight loss goals.  The difference with his approach is that the plan starts and continues in your thought process.  This thought process is where all diets start and either succeed or fail.  The thought process is what can carry you past the threshold of completing a diet plan instead of just giving up as a failure. Give Jim a look and see how much he has to offer.

FullBar Review: It Left A Bad Taste In My Mouth

Updated 11 March 2012: Being an original user of FullBar, we first reviewed the product when it first hit the market and there were numerous issues with customer service.  Since that early time it appears as if they have gotten their act together. For a more up to date review please refer to IChooseThin.com

FullBar Prices On Amazon
I love to try some of the products of weight loss. Heck I even went to a gastric bypass seminar night to gather more factual information. Being the good webmaster I was very interested to learn about FullBar and wanted to try out the product because I like to have first hand knowledge before we will allow the product to make it on our pages.  I watched the video and even called the phone number. The problem was right at first. There was no live person to speak to.  I was informed, via recording, to leave all my order information on voice mail and they would send me the product. Being the typical suspicious person that I am I did not feel comfortable leaving credit card information on a recorder. So I hung up and thought about it and my spouse called the next day. She decided to place an order because the recording said you could get a free month. The recording asks for the credit card up front and after you supplied the needed numbers you are informed that to get your free month you had to buy a month. At that point you were locked into the order and there was nobody to dispute the issue as it was a voice mail.  (Updated 27 Feb 2010: This problem has been eliminated)

We called the next day and after searching we found a not too easy to find live person, customer service phone number. At the end of that conversation we were informed the order was canceled and we would not see a bill. About one month later we received an email that said the order was no longer on back order and it shipped and our credit card was now charged. We called customer service and were treated as if we were lying and we could get our money back after the product was received and we sent it back. Well, we eventually did refuse the product and back it went. After it was returned we got our money back.

It has been awhile since the day we received lousy service and there have been improvements to the website and since we never actually tried the product it is possible the customer service has improved. (Updated 27 Feb 2010 Customer service has improved and it is like a new company)  If the price were reduced, then it would be alright and worth the money, but not at the current price.  For most people the daily cost is too high and when a protein bar is available, and healthier, why not get the protein bar?

Before you decide, I would at least check out the prices at Amazon because they seem to be VERY competitive and you are not added to a mailing list of any sorts.  For a more up to date review please refer to IChooseThin.com

Food Inc. Movie Review

Just when I thought I was doing everything right and getting healthy and thin by making the right food choices…along comes the movie Food Inc.  After watching the movie I will never look at food again in the same light.  For those of you who do not know about this documentary, it is the brain child of filmmaker Robert Kenner. The movie answers the question that most people never ask, and that is where the food we eat comes from.  We go to the grocery store and see the endless rows of food and coolers full of meat and poultry, but until I watched this movie I never really thought of where the product was originating.

Having lost well over 100 pounds I now am more focused on the foods that I am putting into my body.  Because No longer will I respect what our government does through the USDA or the FDA, because of this movie.  No longer will I blindly accept the premise that the food on the shelf is safe to eat because of the oversight of the government.  Because of watching the film Food Inc. I now have a whole new light on what I can expect from the food on the shelves in America.  What I intend to say is that nobody in America expects our government to be honest and corrupt, because the opposite is true.  Most (if not ALL) Americans know that the American government is corrupt, so why would we expect anything to be different in how the food ends up on our plates?  Food Inc. has literally opened my eyes as to the reality of the existing conditions of the food industry in America today.

We can all brush aside the fictitious thought of serene cows grazing on the plains or the clucking chickens pecking on the hillside.  No longer should we think that a farmer is anything more than a person that is mortgaged and owned by the seed industry.  In America today the food industry is in total control of the government and if you doubt that, then you have not watched Food Inc.  This movie is 94 minutes long and was released in theaters on June 12, 2009.  Food Inc. was produced through Magnolia Pictures and became available on DVD on November 3, 2009.

If you are concerned about the food that you, or others in your life are eating, then this is a must watch movie.  I have seen this movie impact the lives of one family so greatly that they sought out local farms for their meat and produce to avoid all the chemicals.  I have seen this family go from fast food to healthy food and the physical and emotional changes were impressive. I used to not think about the issue of where the food I was eating came from, because of the assumption that our food supply was secure and the best interest of the population was always center stage concern by our government.  Do not think that I am ready to run out and put aluminum foil on my head, but I do know that I need to make some basic and essential changes in my life.

After watching Food Inc. I have since gone out and located local farmers that grow beef and poultry without hormones and chemicals.  I was amazed that these small farms were so nearby and I never noticed them before.  Since watching Food Inc. I have become much more aware of the fact that the responsibility to eat healthy falls squarely on my shoulders and that I should not trust the government so completely.  After watching Food Inc. I now have a greater understanding of why the masses in America are obese.  Now that I have this greater understanding I know that I need to continue to grow in my quest for not only eating healthy, but in being healthy.  I have learned on my weight loss journey that losing weight is more than just a diet, it is about fundamental life changes.  I have learned that those changes require an understanding of not only myself and my emotions, it is also about understanding what is really in the food I am eating.

After watching Food Inc. I now have a clearer understanding of not only eating healthier, but also how to be healthier overall.  That overall health is more than being on a diet, it is about understanding my relationship with food.  It is impossible to understand that relationship when corporate America is intentionally trying to make a profit through confusing the masses.  Food Inc. helps shed a small beam of light on a subject that the powers that be in America, really do not want you to see.

LA Weight Loss Rips You Off As They Close Their Doors

Once again we are sad to report to the masses that another group of people are getting ripped off in an earnest effort to lose weight.  We personally know of a close friend that came to us asking if we knew what she could do because LA Weight Loss ripped her off for $1,600.00.  They told her she needed to pay for everything up front and it would save her money.  She paid for all of her visits and her bars and everything else they asked her to pay.  She showed up at the building yesterday and the doors were locked tight and not one word was ever told to her about what to do.

After a quick search and a few phone calls it was quickly learned that L.A. Weight Loss is one company that will not be around much longer.  Franchises are going bankrupt all over the place and just keeping the money collected from would be dieters.  If you are thinking of dropping some money into them in your effort to lose weight we want to warn you loud and clear to avoid them at all costs.  You will have better results flushing your money down the toilet.

If you desire to lose weight and have a few bucks to spend we recommend two great things you can do for yourself.  The first is eDiets, which is an online organization that supplies a ton of information and advice.  eDiets is a sound organization and they will not be going away anytime soon.  Also if you want a great tool for your weight loss that you can use without any outside help we recommend a device from The Biggest Loserfame.  If you are looking for BodyBugg to chart your course to health then the information link is the red box just below.  This device is one great weight loss tool that is from the financially sound company called 24 Hour Fitness.

New bodybugg for $249 with free digital display

We just wanted to tell you that if you are looking into LA Weight Loss you are wasting your money.  Even if your local office tells you all is alright they are not telling you the entire truth.  In one year it is doubtful that the organization will even exist.  The only part of LA Weight Loss will be in the court system fending off all of the lawsuits from people who had their money ripped off.
