Medifast Product Review: Lemon Meringue Crunch Bar

Today I had my first Medifast Lemon Meringue Crunch Bar and I thought it was the most flavorful food I had all day.  I ate this as the very last thing of the day and I must say that this review of the Medifast Lemon Meringue Crunch Bar is a double thumbs up.  It not only tasted good, it tasted great.  I always liked lemon pie but this Medifast product tasted like a sugar explosion in my mouth.  My hands even were sticky after I ate it and I found myself licking my fingers for some final moments of flavor.

When I first saw the size of the Medifast Crunch Bars I did not think that they were big enough for anyone to have enough.  I will not lie so when I tell you I wanted more when I was done would be an understatement.  I could have eaten the entire box in one sitting.  The good news is that I did not eat more than one and after awhile the hypnotic spell of wanting “more” wore off and I was fine and content.

Overall I will definitely place an order the next time around for the Medifast Lemon Meringue Crunch Bar.  I really, really like the way it tasted.  Here are some basic nutritional facts for the Medifast Lemon Meringue Crunch Bars.

Medifast Soft Serve Review: Video and Written

Medifast Soft Serve Review: Video and Written.  We have created a short video review of how we make Medifast Soft Serve.  I always call it ice-cream, but Sue (wife) corrects me, but I enjoy it so much that is simply how I feel about the stuff.  We created the video because if a picture is worth a thousand words, then the video will be more than enough.  We want to answer some of the things that were mentioned in the video, so please watch the video and then read below.

One of the first things to tell you is that yes, I am from Brooklyn, but it has has been a long time since I was there.  Also, I was not annoyed or angry, I just look that way sometimes.  In fact, doing stuff like this is what I really enjoy doing and has become a big hobby of mine. I talk to everyone about how great Medifast is for a person.

One thing Sue wanted me to stress in the video is that the the Walden Farms chocolate syrup and whipped cream is what we use because we can deviate from the program somewhat since we are just in maintenance mode.  I lost over 115 pounds and Sue won’t let me mention how much she lost because….that’s what girls do, so I oblige!  If you decide to use them, just be sure you are really, really careful about the portion size

because you do not want to get out of fat burning.  Also, as with anything, if you go looking for ANYTHING to add to your food, make sure that there is NO sugar and also NO high fructose corn syrup.  They try to sneak it in on you all the time.

If you have not noticed, we love the stuff and WE DO eat some everyday.  We also favor the brownie and even the newer chocolate chip cookie soft batch.  The stuff really does taste good and I still find it hard to believe that I can eat it 5X a day, and STILL lose weight!Medifast Soft Serve Review: Walden Farms and Whipped Cream

This Medifast Soft Serve review was really easy to write because the stuff simply tastes great!

Medifast Maryland Crab Soup Review

This has been a review that has not been the easiest thing for me to accomplish because of all the preconceived notions as to what to expect from eating Medifast Maryland Crab Soup.  The first thing you need to understand is that I am not a big fish fan and yet my wife really enjoys to eat fish.  I never ordered the Medifast Maryland Crab Soup but my wife did on her last order.

After she tried the Maryland Crab Soup for the first time my wife did not like it at all.  She said she did not like it because it had such an overwhelming “fish” taste and smell, which made her not enjoy it the one time she had tried some.  Since she said she did not like the flavor, I really shied away from even eating it at all.

The remaining six Medifast Crab Soup packets remained in their pouch and in the drawer, with my wife and I having no desire to eat it.  It was that way for some time and for some reason I one day took the leap and prepared some to eat while at work.  I really did not expect much from eating the Maryland Crab Soup because I do not like fish as much as my wife….and she did not like it!

What I feel compelled to write about is the fact that when I first tried the stuff it was actually pretty good.  The photograph of the actual meal I ate is above and you can see that I added Medifast crackers, which count as a snack.  My first impression of the meal was that it did not smell overly fishy to me and that I really was impressed the way it thickened up, sitting over night. (I soaked the mix in water for about 12 hours in the fridge.)  I have to say that I was shocked to have enjoyed it as much as I did.  I did not think it was bad at all in taste, flavor, texture or even “fishiness”.

When I came home my wife was also surprised that I enjoyed Medifast Maryland Crab Soup and despite my recommendation, she still told me that she never wanted to eat it again!  The interesting thing is that the fish eater hated it and me, the fish hater, really enjoyed it!  The overall ending thought for me is that you just never know what you will, or will not like, until you give it a try.  If you are interested in trying Medifast Maryland Crab Soup then go for it!  I loved it and my wife hated it and if you knew us you would expect it to have had 100% different results.

To close out this brief review I will give a double thumbs up because I liked it quite abit.  It was flavorful and overall was a great addition to the many Medfast meals I eat.  I will finish off my wife’s supply and next month I will surely order one box.  Medifast Maryland Crab Soup overall was enjoyed by me and not by my wife, but I still will suggest that you give it a try to see for yourself.

What are the Best Tasting Medifast Meals?

Since all of my friends know I like Medifast I have been asked a few times what are the best tasting Medifast Meals.  I find this to be kind of a trick question because every one’s taste is different and it also depends on when the actual Medifast meal is tasted.  What I mean by this is what I have said all along, and that is when most people start eating Medifast meals their taste-buds are sort of polluted and generally new Medifast users do not have ANY Medifast favorite meal selections.

I have learned that when a person first starts to use Medifast they do not like the taste or the texture of any of the meals.  A prime example of this is a friend that tried the oatmeal for the first time and they absolutely hated the stuff.  We coached her through the first couple of days and kept telling her to add some Splenda and to season the other meals in a way that they would enjoy them some more.  After just two days the person that hated the oatmeal told my wife that it was now pretty good tasting.

What I want to point out here is that I could list all of my favorite Medifast meals and then I could list all of the favorite meals my wife enjoys, but what would that matter?  Everyone has their own likes and their own dislikes and if you want to order some Medifast and have never tried the food before, I always recommend that you start off with the variety pack.

With the variety pack, you get exactly what it suggests, which is a variety of Medifast meals.  Once you get past the first three to five days try each and every meal again and you will notice that the flavors of the meals got better somehow.  The truth is that the meals did not get better, it is just that your tastes have begun to change and you are now able to actually taste food for what it really tastes like.  After just the first few days, you will start to taste Medifast meals for what they really taste like.

As for what Medifast meals are the best tasting?  I would hate to venture what anyone else would enjoy the most.  If you are looking to decide what meals taste better to most people, I would suggest you just get started on the Medifast variety pack and then after three days of Medifast meals, start to list what you enjoy the most so on the second month you can place an order that more closely reflects not only your tastes, but also your lifestyle.

Many people with busy work schedules tend to order more of the crunch bars and cheese puffs and honey mustard pretzels, but not because they are their favorite meals, but because they are good tasting meals that are convenient and fit into their busy work schedule.   If you were to pin me down to what MY favorite Medifast meal is I would answer in this manner….

If I am off work for the day I like to start my morning with Medifast Chocolate Chip Pancakes.  If I have a long work day ahead I love to eat at least one bag of Parmesan Cheese Puffs.  If I am going for an early morning workout at the gym, I love to cook up some scrambled eggs.  For a late night meal I really enjoy to have some vanilla pudding or a chocolate shake.

The point I hope to make here is that if you are looking for the best tasting Medifast meals that you just order the variety pack and after your body achieves fat burning (3 days) you start to narrow down what you enjoy the most.  Your tastes will be different than mine and my tastes are no better than yours.  What it all really will come down to is what you like the most and what will fit into your lifestyle the easiest.  But….you will not really able to make any accurate choices until you made it through the first three days of using Medifast.  I have been using Medifast for 173 days now and I pretty much like every one of the meals, except the cream of broccoli soup

Decide for yourself because you are the only one that matters and then the only thing that does matter is weight loss and with Medifast that is much more than a possibility, it will be your reality if you simply follow the Medifast Program.

Medifast Product Review: Honey Mustard Pretzel Sticks

The best thing about this Medifast Honey Mustard Pretzel review is that it really is simple and straight forward.   If you want to use Medifast to lose weight you will soon discover that if you give the program a fair shot, you will lose weight.  With that being stated as the fact it has been in my life, it is easy to write the Medifast Honey Mustard Pretzel review because the product is convenient and tasty.

There is little negative to write about Medifast Pretzels overall.  The honey mustard pretzels are convenient and easy to tote to work,.  They do not get soft or gooey in the car and they stay fresh pretty much anywhere.  Since they are so easy to carry around it is also worth noting that the taste of them is really not too bad. Overall the thought of eating them is often a relief of sorts, as they are overall really nice to have around.

As with other tasty Medifast Meals, the pretzels are no different.  After the bag is empty you want more and that is simply a sign that it tastes pretty good after all.  The one difference with these pretzels, from the ones behind the glass in the vending machine, is that Medifast Honey Mustard Pretzel Sticks are one-fifth of all your daily needed nutrition.  It turns out that the smaller portions are satisfying because of the nutrition, and not because of their bulk.  The amazingness of the pretzels is that they have it all.  Convenience.  Flavor.  Taste and nutrition.  It was a way overdue idea that has finally arrived.

Medifast Pretzel Sticks are good and they do chase away hunger until the next Medifast Meal, but I must report my one disappointment with Medifast Pretzels and that is that the individual pretzel sticks are always busted to heck in the bag.  The bags rarely have intact pretzels and it often looks like a bag of pretzel pieces.  All of the sticks are broken, but the taste is pretty good and the hunger is chased away.

I order them on every order because I love to use Medifast Meals that are portable and these are portable.  I also want to caution you that if you order the “Variety Pack” as your Medifast order, you do not get pretzels.  I was very disappointed one month, but that is what I get for not paying attention.  I could have sent something back but I really like it all, but I always look forward to the pretzels.
