Can’t Afford Medifast
Most people do not think that Medifast is affordable when they first look at the price to get going on the program. The interesting thing about the cost of Medifast is that you soon start to understand that if you spend $300.00 a month on the program, many people often end up saving money in the long run. When you purchase Medifast most people zone in on that initial cost, which seems to be high at first glance. What one does not realize initially is that if you are faithful to the Medifast Program, the cost to eat per day has really dropped in a radical way for most people. Soon you begin to realize that you have to eat everyday anyway and since most people don’t eat for free, Medifast proves to be affordable.
In order to explain this to you let’s just cover some of the basics about Medifast. For the sake of argument we will use the scenario where you opt to order it using the best price available. That would mean that you opted for the auto-shipment and the grand total cost to have Medifast shipped to your door for 10 weeks is $600.00. (You would pay that cost over two months. $300.00 each for each month) At first glance, that price seems really expensive, until you think about it a little.
When you use Medifast you will essentially be eating six “meals” a day. Those meals will consist of shakes and snack bars and soups, among other items. Medifast will be providing you with five meals a day, with you providing the one meal referred to as the “Lean and Green Meal.” If you order the first month with the Medifast Advantage Program, you will ultimately receive 350 meals for each two months ordered.
Breaking out the math we quickly decipher that the cost per meal is less than $1.79 each. The cost of Medifast for each day multiples out to less than $8.93. I do not live in a super high cost of living area and right now I can spend that much money at one sitting in any fast food restaurant. The point here is that the sticker shock for Medifast really is a bum rap that it does not deserve.
Although the cost of Medifast may seem high at first, but when you break it down to the daily price, it is a very reasonable cost. Sure you will still need to eat that other Lean and Green Meal each and everyday, but that can be prepared at home for less than two or three bucks. The point to be understood is that Medifast is not all that expensive when looked at through the perspective of budgeting ones money for food on a monthly basis.
Overall, Medifast has not only the ability to get your waistline in shape, it has the ability for you to reel in your food costs as well. At second glance Medifast looks pretty good, as long as you order it the right way. The right way to order it will be by using the best deal available right now, which is using the least expensive ordering cost available at the time you place your order.
The price of Medifast may fluctuate slightly from time to time. There may be coupons available for Medifast, but they do vary from time to time. (MAJOR update to Medifast Coupons Pricing: Click Here)

Even if you do not order at the lowest possible price point but simply place a single one-time order of $299.50 and pay for shipping, it’s STILL far cheaper than eating eating out 1-3x per day. Even if you add in the Lean & Green… figure one package of boneless skinless chicken breasts costs about $15 for 4 large breasts (which is about 8 of your Leans) that’s less than $2 each. Now add in your greens which are NOT at all expensive. All of this is STILL cheaper per day than eating fast food or restaurant food each day (typically runs you $5-$8/meal just at a fast food place which adds up to $450 conservatively if you figure $15/day)
It’s the biggest no-brainer in the history of mankind! =)
