Yesterday I received my BodyBugg Camouflage Colored Replacement strap and I am pretty happy with what I have received.  My wife ordered the hot pink colored replacement strap and she really likes what she has received also.  What I must say about the band that I received was that I never realized that the band is not the color of what is received, it is only the ring that holds the brain of the BodyBugg system in place.

I am not disappointed with the fact that it is only the ring that is a different color because for the most part, the unit is never visible to most people as it is covered by the sleeve of my tee shirt.  We really only ordered the BodyBugg replacement bands because the ones we had been using were getting somewhat funky looking no matter how much we washed them.  I did not throw away the old bands as we still intend to use them during the times we sweat alot, like at the gym.  This way when we are done exercising, we just switch to the newer and cleaner strap.

We chose the colors we chose because we were tired of the old black on black bands that we received when we ordered the unit about a year ago and also the first time we ordered replacement straps.  I think the bands last about 6 months or so and when I say “last” I mean the just sort of get all ugly looking.  They have never had any trouble doing the primary purpose, which is to hold the BodyBugg unit next to your skin.  The straps generally ugly out long before they wear out so the only need to replace them is a cosmetic need.

The other colors that were available to us were chrome, blue and a zebra color that is like a black on white.  The next time we get one we will order a different color and keep you posted on those colors.  Heck, maybe by that time they will even have colored straps?
