I bought my Ki Fit – the UK equivalent of the Bugg three months ago and have shifted weight that I never thought would move. I’m totally in agreement with te hcomments made by Conni about. Long live BodyBugg and Ki fit!!

For those who do not suffer from technical issues in getting started, the bodybugg IMHO is the most effective tool I have ever seen for someone ready to get moving and lose weight.

I have been using this system since March 2009 and I have lost 121 pounds. It gives me the data I need minute-by-minute (with the wrist display accessory) to plan my activities in order to meet my daily calorie burn target. By logging my food daily on the online website, I have total control over how many calories I eat each day. Between those two numbers, a deficit (fewer calories in than burned) every day equals my weight loss over time. I choose what to eat and when, I choose when to move and how much, I choose my weekly target for weight loss.

If used diligently by someone who is totally ready to commit to their weight loss journey, this tool can be their best weight loss buddy. I think of it as the little angel on my arm reminding me to think before I eat and think before I sit down to relax in the evening. I chose to eat a reasonable, sustainable amount and to workout a lot so that I could enjoy meals. I am not dieting, I am making a lifestyle change.

It has worked for me. I hope it works for others that are ready to put in the time and commitment!

I don’t work for Apex or 24 Hour Fitness. I agree that customer service and the online user interface could be enhanced, but the value of the data I get everyday has made the difference between success and failure for me.

I would love to hear what has happened since September. I started using it this year. I love it and never mind it on my arm. It’s like it’s not there. When I recharge I forget it’s not on my arm and I rush to get it back on there. I can look at my day and see where the active parts were. I can see how I slept based on the calories burned during the night. I love it because I finally got the missing piece, what do I personally burn all the time. I plan out days and I can also rev up my workouts and plan for a party which I did last week. I worked out beforehand like crazy and kept track of all of it with the help of my Bodybugg. I still had my deficit and had a piece of cake and some cocktails. In the past I would have ate and drank the same thing and then felt guilty for days after and maybe even given up like always but I got right back to business because I didn’t hurt my diet I still had the deficit I wanted. I am eating good and enjoying looking at what it means to take the stairs instead of elevators. I park far away and walk. I do all the junk I read in magazines and thought was dumb. The laugh was on me. But I have all the tools. If I can’t continue to lose weight, that means I gave up because using Bodybugg is the complete answer like no other answer. It is a must for anyone who wants to lose weight or even gain weight. It tells you the truth.

    Good luck!!!!

Wow, it seems there is now an electronic tool for everything – up till I did not know a Body Bug even existed. I guess you learn something every day.

I can see how knowing that you are buring calories could motivate you in the battle to loose weight. I may get one of these for myself.
