BodyBugg, A Final Review
An amazing thing has happened on my weight loss journey and it all started with my using BodyBugg. I must admit that I have had my BodyBugg on for about 16 weeks now and I have lost right at 40 pounds, as of 4 days ago. What makes it so interesting is that even though I wear it everywhere I go, I no longer really feel the need to use it anymore. What was once something I plugged into the computer day after day has slowly become something I plug in every few days. I am connecting to the BodyBugg website less and less because I feel a decreased need to use the BodyBugg. I feel as if I have outgrown the need to use my BodyBugg, depite how grateful I am to have the BodyBugg.
I have discovered that I really do not need any weight loss aids or weight loss pills or patches. What I have learned is that weight loss is not rocket science. Weight loss is not something that only happens to other people and that weight loss is just about what we eat and how much exercise, or activity we get. What BodyBugg has taught me is that losing weight is all about how many calories I eat and how many calories I burn off….PERIOD!!! I have learned that a bucket of “buttered” popcorn aids to my being fat when washed down with a couple of sodas and a bag of candy. I have learned that if I want a popcorn I will live if I have a small popcorn. I have learned that a turkey burger is really good and that grilling is better than frying. I have learned that I want to choose the calories I eat more wisley. I have learned that I have the ability to not eat donuts everytime they are in front of me. BodyBugg has shown me that I can be strong and I can eat better and healthier choices while being more active.
When I first got the BodyBugg I was a fanatic that entered each food in the computer accurately. I was at first quite anal about how EXACT everything was and at the time…it worked. I became very adept at how many calories food had. I learned what a portion size of pasta is all about. I learned what a portion size of rice should be. I have learned that I do not have to spend as much money on food every month because with portion control understood, we have almost no leftovers that get tossed next week. BodyBugg has helped me regain my inner ability to control what I choose to eat. BodyBugg has shown that I do have the ability to make a positive change in my daily life. I see the results in the over-sized clothing and the disappearance of my double chin.
How do I get my point across to you, the reader about my sincerity on the effectiveness of BodyBugg? I really do not know, but I just want you to know that if you have tried to lose weight for years and have failed, so did I. If you have wasted more money on weight loss nonsense that did not work, so did I. If you are embarrassed about your weight, so WAS I! Today that has changed because of the silent and ever present calorie burning counting machine that BodyBugg is all about. The interesting thing about BodyBugg is the fact that in and of itself, it does not cause one ounce of weight loss. BodyBugg is a guide that merely shows you the paths that you can have and it is up to you to make the choices.
In the early days of my wearing BodyBugg the choices of what I ate and how active I was appeared on my computer everyday. I would see the results, good or bad and what I saw motivated me to be better. What I saw helped me take more steps while at work, get away from my desk and just move. What BodyBugg showed me was that I was fat because I had made poor choices for too long andI always had the inner ability to correct my misguided direction. BodyBugg has shown me that I can lose weight and because of that, I still wear BodyBugg, but really do not rely on it anymore. I have learned from BodyBugg that the choices I make are mine and I always had the ability to make them. With the BodyBugg on my arm I have learned that being accountable to myself, is all I ever really needed to realize.
