I couldn’t agree more. Many people overlook this or just don’t think about it.

Ryan is not the only candidate who has gained back weight. Several have regained and this isn’t necessarily their fault. It is one thing to be sequestered on the ranch and work out several hours daily and be limited in food and another thing to live in a food centered society. Also according to Ryan’s blog, he used some rather unhealthy methods to “crash off” 32 lbs to win the game, weight which he had regained within a couple of weeks of the game ending. It’s TV remember…. is “reality TV” an oxymoron? (like “Military intelligence” etc)
There are apparently many exercise physiologists who have opined that the methods of training used on the “Biggest Loser” can cause injury for life, physical as well as psychological. Neither Harper nor Michaels are exercise physiologists — on the contrary….
