Just wanted to ask, where was this research done? How do I know this is a reliable source. I have learned not to trust anything but i really like acia berry juice. it would be a shame if I buy the stuff all the time and not be getting any benefits from it.

    ICT RESPONSE:
There are benefits from drinking the stuff. The point of the article was to make sure the readers are aware that there are no weight loss befefits from Acai.

I have tried just about everything out there and have found nothing that really works. I was just about to try the acai berry fresh, (heard an advertisement on radio)then ran acroos this blog. Good to know so I won’t waste money as far as weight loss but will likely try for vitamin benefits. Thanks for an honest, open blog.

  • Sandra from Electrosurgery Generator says:

It is super nutritious but I agree, not really intended for weight loss. However, someone did tell me that their cravings stopped and therefore their snacking and they did loose weight.

  • John says:

Rita, The reason you and others on here are complaining about not losing a pound is simply because there is no healthy way to just lose weight unless you are physically active. Even if you do use pills, youre not building muscle and youll end up being a wierd looking thin person with stretch marks. Get off your lazy can and start crushing some serious workouts.Dont blame the berry

  • PISSED OFF says:

DO NOT ORDER THE ACAI WEIGHTLOSS PILLS FROM THE WEBSITE THAT OFFERS FREE TRIALS FOR ONE MONTH!!!!! I DID, AND MANY OTHERS DID, AND WE ARE NOW OUT ALOT OF MONEY, YOU WILL NOT LOOSE WEIGHT JUST MONEY, THEY SET UP FAKE “NEWS” WEBSITES THAT CLAIM IT IS GOOD, BUT ONCE YOU OREDER YOUR “FREE” TRIAL, YOU GET CHARGED A FEW DAYS LATER (BEFORE YOU EVEN RECIEVE THE TRIAL SAMPLE) AND WHEN YOU CALL TO COMPLAIN THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH, AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND, AFTER CURSING THEY OFFERED ME 49$ BACK IF I RETURN THE BOTTLE

    BUYER BEWRAE!!!!!!!!!

I used acai berry burn for 3 months in a desperate attempt to lose weight.I didnt lose a pound,i read so many positive things about it but i can honestly say it does not work at all.
I have used many weight loss pills and none have worked so far.I used to say to myself this particular type will have to work.So now i have given up looking for a miracle pill and hopefully a normal healthy diet and exercise will help me lose those stubborn pounds.

I just love fruits and especially bananas and apples are my favorites.Good to read this post, sounds really helpful.

  • vitamins says:

It’s great to hear that there is a new fruit packed with vitamins and health benefits but sad that this can’t be available for the general market. We just have to stick to what’s available.

  • ess from TStop Underarm Sweating says:

Very interesting to learn about acai berry, especially since it has been so highly touted for nearly everything over the last year or so. Dried fruits are normally tasty, will have to try this. Thanks for your honesty!

  • am from sconveyor pizza oven says:

Well this is right that acai berry is rare in fruit and i have not seen it but i am sure that i will taste this fruit very soon. The acai berry grows in certain areas in amazon forest in Brazil though.so you can’t get it fresh.

  • eter from Pherbal enhancement says:

The acai berry grows only in certain areas of the Amazonian rainforest in Brazil, so it is true that you can not get it fresh in almost anywhere. Fortunately we have a variety of dried fruits and supplements.

  • Mike from Acid Reflux Relief says:

Thanks for the link to AcaiTips.com, that is a very informative site. I’m glad to hear there is an alternative to the fresh berry that is worth the cost. I’m going to give it a try.

  • So far I have not seen this fruit. But I have heard that this fruit is really rich in vitamins and protein content.Hope very soon I ll taste this fruit. Thanks for sharing this information. Its an interesting and good post.

Acai berry has been all the rage lately..I recall a documentary saying prices had skyrocketed in brazil and local families don’t enjoy the typical (but VERY bad tasting) acai soup :D

  • avid from DAcai Berry says:

:???: i tried it and got no big difference, may be it was the fact that i didn’t worked out at all.

  • motorola headset says:

Well, I agree that indeed Acai berry is a rare fruit. I haven’t seen it in person till now. And most of the products of it in market are not legitimate. So one should be careful while purchasing.

  • lait de soja says:

Similar thing happened with me.I have tried it for six month and didn’t help me at all. I think the manufacturers are not keeping it better. It will help only if it is used alone without modification.

  • Michelle says:

Honest review, but I better get going to stock up on my berries!

  • Jen says:

I got scammed with that Acai berry and the collen cleanse.. however, I never payed then, and after arguing over the phone for over an hour and a half with this women, nothing else was ever said about it…

  • ucy from LMonaVie Active says:

Thanks for the interesting post, I think it’s great that you have reviews the benefits of Acai berry, and the alternatives available to people. that the freeze dried version is good for health is a very good alternative for people who don’t live close enough to a fresh supply source, and we can all enjoy the health benefits that this super food brings. Great information, thanks.

  • Jet Lag says:

hmm, acai burn still sounds like a scam to me. Forced continuity has been borderline for year. the bottom line is if they dont disclose it upfront, they are trying to mislead people and will get sued. I hope no on owns stock in it!

  • annah from HAcai Berry says:

It would be very difficult to find legitimate acai berry products that really deliver what it offers. People just need to be careful on choosing which one to buy.

  • This is a really honest review, many people have recommended the Acai products, i think i will definitely buy since summer is here.

  • Sandi from DatePalm says:

The Açaí berry is rich in vitamins and nutrients and powerful antioxidants, no one refutes that. But does it really help a person lose weight is the big question? My experience with Acai is that it helped boost my energy levels and aided me in digestion. This helped me keep up an exercise program which in conjunction with a low fat diet did help me lose weight. Could I have done my 20 lb weight loss without acai… I am not sure. I just know the energy boost was essential and I definitely felt it boost my immune system as I was no longer getting sick as frequently. My conclusion is that Acai will help someone feel better and be stronger, which may aide in weight loss, but only if it is part of a balanced diet. Thank you for the tips about freeze dried acai… I too never new the Acai fruit lost it “goodness” after 24 hours.

  • ark from mla pavoni napolitana says:

I had no idea that the acai berry only lasted for 24 hours! I think freeze dried is a great option, and I also have been trying several juices containing it.

  • ene from Gipod touch repairs says:

You’re right when you say that the Acai Berry is hard to come by. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this fruit in person, as much as I’ve heard about it.

  • milly from medical equipment hire says:

Ive been drinking the Acai smoothy from our local deli for a few weeks now – no noticeable difference in me im afraid

  • Rachel says:

Interesting … I’ll have to try it.

  • ladykwak says:

Sorry to hear about your Acai Scam victimimization. A great site to visit is http://www.AcaiTips.com.

They debunk so much of the B.S. about Acai being a weight loss product. They would love to hear your comment. If you contact them they may even let you write an article.

  • Rachiel Grant says:

I couldn’t agree more about the benefits of the Acai Berry. I have been taking an Acai supplement in recent years, but it was mixed with other fruits. I think freeze dried Acai Berry sounds like a wonderful idea, and I look forward to trying it myself.
