i totally agree with you. i am on a personal journey to lose a lot of weight too and today, i can proudly say i skipped my workout and ate some homemade pizza (first pizza that i made). i have been feeling down and my exercise and diet have been weighing me down. but today…i was just like “frig you, i am going to have pizza and i am going to love it”. the best part was it was loaded with veggies (though it also had bacon, 3 frankfurters, a bit of cheese, meatball and burger meat). i made 2 pizzas in total- and there is PLENTY left over because there were so many toppings. but back to the point. i realised i had stopped living and now, i am BEYOND ALIVE. i feel like a person again. not a teenager absorbed in her journey to lose weight. i feel like i’m on top of the world. i now agree to the occasional WHATEVER day when you need it. people need to realise its not a step back, but 10 steps forward. and you dont know that till it happens to you… just one little detail- keep the WHATEVER day a little bit health conscious!!
Stay with it–an occasional “cheat day” will not hurt you. You won’t really synthesize much (if any) fat from one meal. It’s what you do over the long haul that matters. Congrats on what you have lost so far.
wow… 100 pounds??? that’s actually hard to lose… but I guess, it is really worth the pain. And you’re right, no one is in a competition with anyone when it comes to weight losing. You should be proud of yourself when you reach your goal. keep it up!
That is great. I learned that if i cut the portions down on every meal i loose weight. After awhile you can cut them down again you seem to be able to keep cuting portions down and will loose weight and keep it off. i still eat some foods i should not but this way i do not go nuts craving some food and still wind up looseing weight.
