20 Tips For Managing Stress
Stress is change and change is unavoidable. It is unrealistic to attempt to avoid all stress. We need to learn to manage stress, it is the only way to create a fun and healthy lifestyle. I have included some tips for a pleasurable life in the midst of our perpetual chaos:
- Live in the present not the past.
- Begin living now.
- Stop asking to be rescued.
- Journal your thoughts and feelings and be honest about how you feel.
- Set realistic and attainable goals.
- Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
- Learn to accept what you cannot change.
- Give yourself permission to be afraid of success and failure.
- Eat properly, get sufficient rest and exercise regularly.
- Stop talking about your problems, instead talk about your strengths and assets.
- Think positive.
- Meditate.
- Have fun, be playful, dance, and sing
- Vary your routine.
- Do something you would really like to do for You.
- Take time to smell the roses.
- Be grateful.
- Love yourself completely.
- Read a good book or watch a great movie in your pj’s.
- Make your living enviroment comfortable.
